Earth Observation Campaign at Paris
The Remote Sensing Lab hyperspectral team (led by Giannis Latzanakis, supported by Dimitris Tsirantonakis and Dimitris Poursanidis) of Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas, and William Morrison of University of Freiburg concluded a 5-days in-situ campaign for hyperspectral data collection at Paris in the context of the urbisphere project.
High rise buildings, such as the Sorbonne University Pierre and Marie Curie Campus, offered excellent vantage points to cover large areas of the city center using the hyperspectral camera by HySpex. Meanwhile, on the ground, data were collected almost simultaneously using the spectroradiometer RS3500.
