Urbisphere research presentations at EGU24
Urbisphere research will be presented in the European Geosciences Union General Assembly #EGU24 which kicked off in Vienna this week. Dr Daniel Fenner will present "A systematic investigation of urban modifications of mixed layer height and cloud cover in Berlin, Germany" and will be the convener of the "Urban climate, urban biometeorology, and science tools for cities". In this session, Gregor Fiegel will present the "High spatio-temporal monitoring of weather and outdoor thermal comfort in urban environments: A modular sensor network, first year data and outreach", and Ferdinand Briegel will present "Downscaling climate projections to map future outdoor thermal comfort in cities based on a deep learning approach". Dr Ting Sun presented his poster "WRF-SUEWS Coupled System: Development and Prospect" in the session "Urban Geo-sciences: modelling and monitoring complex urban systems; from the state of the art to planning challenges' and Dimitris Tsirantonakis will present "Urban trees phenology and local climate feedbacks of a residential area in Berlin" in the PICO session "Urban Ecosystem Dynamics: Challenges and Advances".
